Mums Mean Business: A Conference for Working Mums

Sale Price: $1.00 Original Price: $150.00

Raising good humans while building a career or business can feel like the bar keeps moving. Mums Mean Business is a day to step out of the juggle, learn from women who are living it, and leave with ideas you can actually use on Monday.

The conference grew out of our networking group for self-employed mums, but this day is for every working mum: business owners, employees, side-hustlers, career changers and everyone in between.

Keynote speakers:

  • Dr Morgan Edwards, "You don't have to earn your rest"

    • Dr Morgan Edwards is a mum, an anaesthetist, and a content creator. She is passionate about empowering her patients and women all over the world with scientifically backed data to make informed decisions, especially during childbirth. She regularly speaks out on government policies and helps her audience find actionable ways to advocate for change. She’s a mum of two, loves to travel, and is an all-round great human.

  • Emma McLean, “The Honest Conversation about Success: trade-offs and redefining what success means”

    • Emma McLean is the mother of three young adults and founder of Works for Everyone. She experienced first-hand how hard it was to have a career and a family during her 20-year career in corporate strategy. Alongside Works for Everyone, she runs a successful podcast “How to Smash the Motherhood Penalty”, runs the NZ Part Time Power List, and most importantly, is a lifelong Swiftie.

  • Our panels for the day:

    • The Invisible Mental Load: leading at home and in business, and avoiding burnout

    • Growing a Team Without Losing Your Mind: hiring, delegation and systems as a busy parent

    • Building a Personal Brand: finding confidence and opportunities

  • Speakers include:

    • Meg Mansell (co-host on The Edge Breakfast)

    • Alex Cappy (CEO First Table)

    • Courtney Bennett (Premmie Knitting Club)

    • Ashleigh Scott (The Facialist)

    • Charlotte Norris (Invigorate Media)

    • With more to be announced!

  • Plenty of time throughout the day to connect with other mums who get the juggle.

What's included: Full-day entry, coffee (available from 8am), morning tea, and lunch.
